Life Update

Well, it's been a minute since I've remembered to log in here and type stuff...So here's what you've missed:

I realized that this is actually really handy for me. Just today I said, how old was she when... and I looked back at a previous post and found it! Go me. Plus 5 Mom points. 

Kid Update: (7.5 months)
At her 6 month appt (it was more like 6.5 months)
Weight: 18lbs 6oz (80%)
Length: 26" (50%)
Head: 90% 
Teeth? No
Milestones: Sitting up, getting up on all 4's trying to crawl. She's pulled herself up to standing once. 
Likes: Blowing raspberries, pulling on Bailey, scooting around on her belly, Waffles, splashing in the bathtub, jumping in the bouncer, putting everything in her mouth
Dislikes: Anyone cleaning her runny nose. Being fed with a spoon. 

She's been rocking 9 month clothes for over a month now. I ordered her Halloween costume in 12 months (back in July) just to be safe. I think it'll still work. 
Her chubby legs look silly in tight pants so we don't do a lot of those. Since she's a daycare kid, and learning to crawl, she wears mostly onesies and pants everyday. (And really I'm not going to dress my kid up - it's just not my style). She comes home with a dirty belly from rolling on the floor and trying to crawl. 

We're getting more comfortable with food. She likes to feed herself (still) and we're doing well expanding her palate. Typical day:
   Breakfast - Waffle or Cheerios (while we're in the kitchen getting ready)
   Morning Snack - Banana, Avocado, Gerber Apple pieces or other fruit (at daycare)
   Dinner - Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Cottage Cheese, Avocados, Puffs
Basically - Fruit in the morning, veggies at night.
She LOVES to eat! I don't know where she would get that from...

She's up on all fours trying to crawl -she starts rocking back and forth and then reaching for something which leads to a belly flop. Then she'll reevaluate and roll all over town to get to where she wants. She likes to stand and only requires some assistance in that she holds your fingers.

She's also big on blowing raspberries as we call it - lots of spit flying around and excited squeals. She tends to do this when she's closest to your face. Preferably with your mouth open. She also likes to feel faces. Which equals tiny hands in side your nose, mouth, ears, and eyes.
