Something Snarky: 15 Months!

Dear Little Bear,

You're 15 months old this week (okay 2 weeks ago). CRAZY. How does the time go so fast? Just a short 12 months ago you were sleeping on the ottoman all day while we did other things. Now you can climb onto that ottoman. And fall off. And climb it again.

Kid Stats:
Weight: 25.2lbs
Height: 30.5"
Head: 95%
Teeth: 2 (on the bottom) 2 more coming in on the top
Diapers: Moving up to size 4's
Clothes: 18 -24 months
Shoes: Size 4-5
Words: Dadadadada (for everything). DADA! for Dad, Mum, Duck, Bobo and lots of happy squeals and jibberish. We've also heard Baby Bird and Ketchup once.
Likes: Dipping food. Running. Hugging Bailey. Watching birds. Shoes. Being outside. Car rides with the sunroof open. Getting in and out of your toy car.
Dislikes: Being told No. Other than that, you're pretty happy!

We are leaving for the beach this weekend and I'm so excited I can't stand it. We need a mental break from normal life (we being your dad & I, I don't think you mind the every day world). We're going with your aunts, uncles, great uncles, cousins, and second cousins. It's going to be a PARTY. We're so very excited to see you on the beach. We don't expect many issues, since you love walking on strange textures and water and being outside. Should all be kosher. Just exhausting, because, you are non-stop moving laughing machine. (Update - I forgot to post this. We went to the beach. It was fantastic. More on that to come)

You still love daycare. Some days when we drop you off, you dont even say goodbye! Normally you'll give a hug and a kiss, then wave bye and blow kisses. Sometimes you cry and Rhonda or Allison take you to the window to look for birds while I sneak out. But more often than not, you find a friend and don't even notice that I'm gone, which makes me happy AND sad.
