Yes, we're person baking. The little Elliott is due to be here in mid-late February. It's hard to keep up because every time I go to the Dr. they change my due date. I think they just like to keep me on my toes. It's not working bitches. I can do math.
This is our first go round with bringing a mini-people into the world, so here's hoping it goes well. So far, its been pretty simple -
1. Outgrow your regular pants
2. Get to tired to move
3. Eat lots of carbs (and cheese) and avoid all things vegetable.
4. Quit drinking wine (This part SUCKS. Don't judge me. You try giving up wine for 9 months)
5. Outgrow the new pants you bought because you outgrew the old pair.
6. Tell people you're person baking
7. Continue to bake until the tiny person is done
We had a gender party last weekend to tell everyone - here's the awesome cupcake our friend B made with a pink inside. Mini Elliott is a Girl! Sorry hubs. You are totally outnumbered.
One of our friends daughter wants us to name her Ariel. If I have a redheaded mermaid, I'd probably make the news, and maybe get some free stuff from people who were all "Holy shit, that lady had a mermaid! Do they need diapers? Send them some!" I'm cool with that.
Bring It On. Wait. Do mermaids need diapers?
Until then we're still working on the house - painting, scraping ceilings, putting in new floors. Well. When I say "WE" I mean N. Because I've suddenly become uncomfortable and unable to help with normal things. And he's fabulous.

So - be prepared. This blog just became about house projects, the dog, food, and bitchy stories about being sober through the entire holiday season.
Cheers :)
