People keep asking me if I'm excited/nervous/happy etc. And honestly, I can say I think I'm still in shock. It's like waiting for Christmas when you're little, but you don't really understand what Christmas is.... you just know to be excited cause there are presents! I know it will be great, I'll be overwhelmed,
They also keep telling me "You're almost there" - which is a true statement - but it's like they don't think I'm keeping track of the time and they are. Like I don't know exactly how many days (half days even) are left. (Less than 48 hours at this point p.s.)
The girls came over last week and brought dinner - kind of the last girls night for a while (kid free non the less!) We took the opportunity to grab this pic of me & A - she's due in June with a little girl and I'm sure she and Marin will be best of friends! I also love that K is photo bombing in the background :)

| Marin & Laney - just hanging out with their moms |
So now, we're just hanging out. The car seat bases are in. The nursery is ready. Tomorrow I'll pack my bags and do some laundry. Maybe even clean up some. (just kidding, that's currently N's job).
We watched The Biggest Loser on Monday and I told N, this week I wouldn't fall below the yellow line because I'm gonna lose like 10-15 pounds! I can't wait for that. I can't wait to not feel like a house. Here are your comparison pictures before you start trying to talk me out of that statement.

You can tell by my face in the last picture that I'm just loving life, not over this whole preggo thing AT ALL :) I've gained a whole truck load of weight (My issue with gaining weight can and probably will become a whole different blog post).
I can't wait to get back to my favorite workout place on the planet - Johnny Long's Training Academy and get some time in with D-Block.
I also cant wait to buy some new running shoes and hit the pavement. Call me crazy, that's cool. I'll deal with it. Thanks to my amazing co-workers and some super sleuthing by myself and my friend M, I was able to score the BOB Revolution SE jogging stroller for only $63 out of my pocket (be jealous, those f-er's are expensive). You'll see me out there soon. So when I'm huffing it down Westland/Ebenezer or maybe even the Boulevard, just smile and wave.
Hope Marin likes to be outside, cause that's where we're gonna be!
Coming up next - the real live Marin! And more honesty about how that whole birth process went. Like you'd expect anything less.
