6 Weeks

M is almost 6 weeks old, holy cow. The time has flown by and she's gotten so much bigger. I know, those of you who don't see her daily can say "she's still so small" but trust me, she's HUGE.  She's wearing 3 month clothes, all the newborn stuff has already been relegated to the closet. Her cheeks are puffing out so she can store acorns for the cool weather months. She looks like a totally different kid from the day she was born (at least, to me)

Birth Day:

Easter:

Check out those cheeks!!!

Good stuff:
- She's still a great eater. We can switch back and forth from bottles and have no problems. This means N can help feed her and gives us some flexibility when we leave the house.

- She sleeps in her crib. At night, we put her down, she wiggles and talks to herself for a bit, then she conks out in her crib.

- Cuddles. She's still small and cuddly, so we're taking advantage of it, knowing it won't last forever.

- Smiles. She's started smiling for real (not just from gas) and it's amazing to be on the receiving end of one of those.

- Tiny Clothes. M has a serious wardrobe. I love picking out her little outfits and tiny socks.

The not so Good Stuff
- Flu Season. For keeping us in our house way more than usual, since the weather is still cold and kids are still snotty. We have to keep M pretty isolated so there's less chance for her to catch anything.

- Tummy Aches. I hate when she cries because it hurts. I understand the I'm hungry, I'm sleepy, I'm bored cries, but the "This really hurts" cry is heart breaking.

So, the good definitely outweighs the not-so-good :) We're ready for the real spring weather though. I'm getting some cabin fever!
